August 5, 2020 -- Repairs to Red Oak Ln. at Lake-Cook Rd.
Update - -August 5, 9:40pm: The gas main has been repaired and Red Oak Lane has now reopened. Crews will now begin investigating and repairing the water main break. Updates will be provided when available.

August 5, 2020:
Road closure: Red Oak Lane is closed at Lake-Cook Road, and westbound Lake-Cook Road has been reduced to one lane. A private contractor hit a gas main and water main. The Fire Department and North Shore Gas are on site. To facilitate repairs, North Shore Gas has shut off service to properties in the area. Water service to properties in the area has also been shut off, including residents served by the Glenbrook Sanitary District. Once the gas main has been repaired, the City will begin work on repairing the water main.
