At the February 24, 2020 Regular Committee of the Whole Meeting, the Mayor and City Council reviewed the City's Business Development Strategic Plan and began the Strategic Plan update process which will include opportunities for community input from residents and stakeholder groups. The presentation from the meeting can be found here. The Business Development Strategic Plan update will guide the City’s business development activities for the next 3-years. The Plan update includes strategies for business attraction and retention, local and regional partnerships, marketing and communications, development and redevelopment, community vibrancy, and environmental sustainability.
