June 11, 2019 -- SLMAD contracts with Clarke for mosquito management, which begins in April with larvaciding all the catch basins (storm drains) and known mosquito breeding areas in the district. Spraying for adult mosquitoes is done when traps in various areas of the district indicate a problem. For mosquito concerns and to report water standing for more than three days, contact SLMAD here or call the mosquito hotline at 800.942.2555.
