EVENT MOVED TO RAVINIA SCHOOL, 763 Dean Ave. DUE TO HEAVY RAIN PREDICTIONS
April 26, 2019 -- Due to worsening heavy rain predictions, the Highland Park Arbor Day Celebration has moved to an indoor event and will take place tomorrow from 9 AM - 12 PM at Ravinia Elementary School, 763 Dean Ave, Highland Park. Stop by this FREE event to see live raptors, receive free trees, and other goodies, participate in story time or a community art project, and much more.
Currently, paper shredding will continue on as scheduled. This may change based on the weather. Please check the website at www.cityhpil.com/arborday for the latest update.
Parking: Parking is available at Ravinia Elementary School off of Baldwin Road. Additional street parking is available on Roger Williams Avenue and Dean Avenue.
