Volunteer Grass Cutting Program for Low Income Seniors or Low Income Disabled Individuals
The City of Highland Park is offering a new Volunteer Grass Cutting Program designed to serve low income elderly and disabled residents of Highland Park. Volunteers will assist qualified individuals with cutting the grass on their property as needed. The homeowner will be responsible for providing a LRS compost bin or obtaining yard waste stickers for landscape waste disposal. Homeowener is also responsible for providing a fueled lawnmower or reimbursing lawnmower gasoline costs.
