Clavey Road Reconstruction

The City of Highland Park has recieved federal surface transportation program funds for a reconstruction project for Clavey Road. The Clavey Road project limits are between the northbound exit ramp to Clavey Road and proceed east to Green Bay Road. The scope of the work includes complete removal and construction of a new bridge that carries Clavey Road over the Skokie River and reconstruction of the pavement with a new full depth asphalt pavement. Other improvements include new curbs, and gutters, as well as new storm sewers and a new water main. Also a new 8-foot wide asphalt multi-use recreation path is proposed along the south side of the new pavement. The new bridge over the Skokie River is designed to include the recreation path. The attached PDF provides a project location map that depicts the limits. Also the same PDF includes plan and profile sheets that show proposed improvements. Questions or comments concerning this project may be directed to Emmanuel Gomez, City Engineer at 847.432.0807 or at egomez@cityhpil.com.
