April 4 Election Information

April 3: Early Voting
Four Early Voting sites in Lake County will be open on Monday, April 3 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

  • Jane Addams Center/Bowen Park (95 Jack Benny Dr., Waukegan)
  • Lake County Main Courthouse Lobby (18 N. County St., Waukegan)
  • Mundelein Fire Dept. Station1 (1000 N. Midlothian Rd., Mundelein)
  • North Chicago City Hall (1850 Lewis Ave., North Chicago)
April 4: Election Day Voting
On Election Day, polls will be open from 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM. If voting on Election Day, voters must vote at assigned polling places. To find your assigned polling place, visit LakeVoterPower.info.

Voting By Mail
Voted mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day or returned to a secure dropbox by 7:00 PM on Election Day. A list of dropbox locations is available.

Voter Registration
Grace period and Election Day voter registration is available to eligible voters. Individuals must vote at the time of registration. If registering to vote on Election Day, voters must do so at the assigned polling place for their address. Not sure of your voter registration status? Visit LakeVoterPower.info to check.

Election Results
The Office of the Lake County Clerk will begin posting unofficial results online after polls have closed on Election Day. Results are unofficial until provisional and late-arriving Vote By Mail ballots are counted 14 days after the election and the results are certified.
