Winter Storm Warning 2/15/21

Weather Story 215February 15, 2021 -- The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area, with total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches expected. Higher amounts are possible, especially near the lake. Wind chills near 20 degrees below zero are expected and may lead to frostbite in as few as 30 minutes.

Travel will be very difficult, with the worst conditions expected late this afternoon through Tuesday morning, impacting the evening and morning commutes. If travel is necessary when temperatures drop, drive slowly and take precautions in case you get stuck: pack extra blankets and ensure your vehicle’s emergency kit is complete.
