COVID-19 Government Partners: Quick Links

The City of Highland Park is in close communication with sister governments, businesses, and community organizations to actively monitor developments regarding COVID-19.  Restore Illinois Phase 4 permits the reopening of many facilities. An overview of services currently available from government partners is below; find information regarding other service providers here. For the most up to date information, contact each agency. 

City of Highland Park: Municipal Buildings Closed to the Public; No Reduction to Public Safety Services
Public administrative services are available online and via mail. There is no reduction in services for public safety and the City encourages residents to conduct business online or by phone where possible.  Essential public meetings will be conducted virtually.   • Highland Park Senior Center: Building closed; Medical Equipment Loan Closet reopened; Virtual programs available via Zoom

Highland Park Public Library: Library building open for appointments

The Library is open to the public on an appointment basis. Reservations may be made online or by phone; guests should review the Library's COVID-19 safety precautions. The Library will reopen once it has been deep-cleaned. All programs continue virtually. Other online services include virtual assistance and online resources. Park District of Highland Park: Most facilities open with COVID-19 measures in place
The Park District maintains a website page with information specific to each facility. The Recreation Center of Highland Park is now open; online reservations are required. Playgrounds have reopened; families should familiarize themselves with new guidelines. Park bathrooms and water fountains remain closed until further notice. Moraine Township: Food Pantry open; most services available virtually; limited in-person services available
The Food Pantry is open Tuesdays, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Voter registration is available by appointment through October 18, 2020; email clerk@morainetownship.org or call 847.432.3240. Virtual assistance from the Supervisor's Office is available at 847.432.3240. Virtual assistance from the Assessor's Office is available at 847.432.2100. Other virtual services include assistance rent/mortgage or other emergency assistance, SNAP and Medicaid application assistance, resources and referrals for help, and more. North Shore School District 112
NSSD112 has released a plan for returning to school in the 2020-2021 school year. For more information, visit nssd112.org

Township High School District 113
