April 13, 2020 -- To accommodate repairs during the Sheridan Road Bridge Repair Project, Sheridan Road is closed to eastbound traffic from Lake-Cook Road to S. Deere Park Dr. IDOT has implemented a detour for eastbound traffic from Sheridan Rd/Lake Cook Rd Crossing via West Lake Cook Rd, South Green Bay Road, East Maple Hill Rd, and North Sheridan Rd ending at Lake Cook Rd. The bridge will remain open to westbound traffic at all stages of the project. Please see the map below for details.
