March 25, 2019 –The 2019 annual Neighborhood Meeting series begins April 30, 2019. The City of Highland Park, Lake County, North Shore School District 112, Township High School District 113, Park District of Highland Park, Highland Park Public Library, Moraine Township and others will host a series of neighborhood meetings to obtain feedback and answer questions about community priorities and opportunities to enhance quality of life in Highland Park. Neighborhood Meetings are an opportunity for residents to speak with elected officials, government staff and other community leaders in a welcoming, friendly, and informal environment.
“We prioritize and appreciate public feedback and regular conversations with residents,” stated Mayor Nancy Rotering. “While each entity has its own individual mission, budget, and operational goals, by working together, we more efficiently and effectively build a strong future for our community.”
The 2019 Neighborhood Meeting schedule and locations are below:
Tuesday, April 30 6 PM Heller Nature Center,2821 Ridge Rd.
Friday, May 10 9 AM Moraine Township, 800 Central Ave.
Wednesday, June 12 6 PM Red Oak School, 530 Red Oak Ln.
