Bob-O-Link Oakwood Walking Tour

Introduction
The two-mile Bob-O-Link Oakwood Walking Tour begins and ends at Lincoln School and Park, where there is plenty of available parking. The tour will take you to Foley's Pond, one of the Park District's hidden treasures, a beautiful, secluded spot with a walking trail around the pond. You'll see houses by famous architects including the firms of Holabird and Roche and Keck and Keck. 
 
Have you ever wondered about the wrought iron fence and brick entry gates along Green Bay? They were part of Curtis Kimball's 80-acre estate. See other remnants of his estate and learn how the Kimballs sold off the property to create the neighborhood we see today. Learn about the remarkable collection of bungalows from the 1920's along Oakwood. This tour will give you a new appreciation for this Highland Park neighborhood.
