2021 Holiday Lighting Program

Complete digital project bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com. Digital plan documents may be downloaded for a non-refundable fee of $45 by inputting Quest project #7645428 on the QuestCDN.com Project Search page. The primary service is stringing holiday lights on trees. Secondary service is patching strands of lights on trees with existing lights, which are left in trees year round, by cutting out bad strands and replacing them with new strands. This is performed on a unit cost basis (per tree on 250 to 300 trees) and needs to be performed overnight and other off-business hours. The contract also includes an hourly rate utilized by the City for supplemental lighting work and special projects. This pricing is also extended to businesses in our business districts who want to install their own lights, or supplement lights.

Bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. NO paper bids will be accepted.

The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish certificates and policies of insurance as required by the Contract.

It is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect the entire bid package and seek clarification of any item which may not be clear to them.  For questions, contact Ben Miller, City Forester at 847.926.1179.
