ComEd has partnered with the League of Chicago Theatres to administer the ComEd Powering the Arts Program to reach audiences throughout their service area that would otherwise be unable to access arts and cultural offerings. The Powering the Arts Program awards grants of up to $10,000 to arts and culture organizations supporting their efforts to reach underserved audiences throughout northern Illinois including senior citizens, low-income individuals and people with disabilities. ComEd and its partner, the League of Chicago Theatres, are accepting application until May 24, which will be reviewed by a group of leaders in the arts & culture sector to determine the grantees.
