Business Registration

Business Registration Renewal
Annually, during the month of November, existing businesses will receive a Business Registration Renewal Notice via mail or email. Businesses will be required to update the information on their Renewal Notice and pay the annual registration fee of $35 before December 31. 

Any changes to the Business Registration information may be made directly on the annual Business Registration Renewal Notice. 

The Business Registration Renewal Notice may be submitted along with payment in-person or by mail at:

Business Registration
Pursuant to City of Highland Park Code Section 106, every business occupying a commercial space within the corporal limits of the City is required to register and pay a registration fee within 30 days of opening, Businesses registering between January 1 and June 30 pay a $35 fee. Businesses registering between July 1 and December 31 pay a prorated fee of $17.50. Not for profit organizations are required to register but they are exempt from paying a fee.
