Early Voting Reminders

Vote2.png
Early voting for the April 4 consolidated local election begins March 20 and runs through April 3 at the Highland Park Police Department, 1677 Old Deerfield Road. Early voting hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM through April 1.  In anticipation of increased vehicular traffic in the vicinity, the City will have traffic aides on site to provide traffic management as needed. Overflow parking is available at the Solo Cup property across from the Police Station at 1700 Old Deerfield Road. Individuals are strongly urged to adhere to all posted traffic regulations for the safety of pedestrians and drivers.

All polling places will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, April 4, from 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Certificates of Voter Registration were mailed to all registered Lake County voters and list Federal, State and County districts, new precinct information, and voting site location. You are not required to present your Certificate of Voter Registration to vote on Election Day, though it is helpful as a quick reference tool for your correct precinct number and voting districts.

For individuals voting by mail, March 20 is the first day April ballots may be mailed to Lake County. Lake County registered voters can still request a vote by mail ballot until March 30. A ballot can be mailed to any alternate address. Consider your ballot delivery address if you have travel plans for this time of the year. You can also request a ballot by emailing your name and address to votingbymail@lakecountyil.gov, by applying online or downloading a paper form at LakeVoterPower.info.

For more voter or election information, visit www.LakeCountyClerk.info, contact the Lake County Clerk’s Office Elections Department at Elections@lakecountyil.gov or call 847.377.2410.
