City Welcomes Class of 2018 Student Commissioners

Mayor and City Council confirm the appointment of 16 Student Commissioners

Highland Park, Illinois – The City Council approved the appointment of 16 high school juniors to serve as representatives on the City’s various boards and commissions at the January 9, 2017 City Council meeting. Students are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.   They serve on a board or commission, provide feedback on agenda items considered by their respective commission or board, and have an opportunity to gain valuable governmental experience through the Student Commissioner Program.

The City of Highland Park congratulates and welcomes the following high school juniors who will serve through the end of their senior year:
