Letter from Mayor Nancy R. Rotering

Often, as we head into a New Year, we talk about gratitude: good health, family, friends. We are so fortunate to live in a strong, vibrant community. Thank you for your time and thoughtful input throughout the year, focusing on issues that matter to us all.

Together, we continue to work to create the community we desire for today and future generations. Regardless of success or challenge, we are fortunate to live in a city where neighbors work together and care deeply about our community and those in need.

In the spirit of the holiday season of giving, please consider putting these core principles into action. Let’s continue to care for our neighbors in need. Non-perishable food donations to the Moraine Township Food Pantry are always welcome at 777 Central. The Highland Park Fire Department is seeking new coats for their annual coat drive through March 2017. Collection boxes are located in the lobby of Fire Station 33 at 1130 Central Avenue.

As the saying goes: Many hands together make light work. If everyone contributes, we can make a
difference. Together, we can give our neighbors peace of mind and so much more. Join me.
Happy Holidays!

-Mayor Nancy R. Rotering
